Bolivia Dream House Project

House-on-Old-Field-RoadHouse on Old Field Road, Oil on Panel, 14″ x 12″

I donated this painting to the Bolivia Dream House Project. It was started by an artist named Brenda Phillips when her church, Meriden Congregational Church in New Hampshire,  got involved with a mission to save  people dying of Chagas disease in Bolivia. This disease is carried by insects that live in the thatched roofs and adobe walls of the homes of mountain natives. An organization, FEPADE, supplies all the necessary materials to build stucco-walled, metal-roofed houses for $500 per house.

To find out more about this project, please visit the site at, and consider buying an original work of art for $550, which covers shipping and delivery of the artwork, the project’s website maintenance, and the building of a chagas disease-resistant house in Bolivia.

  1. Hey Aaron, Nice job with the painting. Thank you for giving back. I hope this one painting gets its opportunity to build one house. How cool would that be? Good luck. -Don

  3. I enjoy your paintings – they let me breath and contemplate. Wish I could see them in person at your show. You are so accomplished and talented. My eyes dance happily in those layered colors and textures. I am going to send friends to this wonderful site. Hope this painting is purchased by some lucky person soon, and more done for an important cause.
