Spectrum 2010

Rose, Pitcher, and Bowl, Oil on Board, 17″ x 24″

My painting Rose, Pitcher, and Bowl has been included in Spectrum 2010, an annual juried art exhibition presented by the New Canaan Society for the Arts at the Betty Barker Gallery (The Carriage Barn Arts Center) in New Canaan, CT. I’m very honored that it also received First Prize in the oil/acrylic category.

The exhibition runs May 2 – June 21, 2010, with an opening reception on Sunday, May 2, 4 – 6 PM. Gallery hours are Tuesday – Friday , 12 – 4 PM, Saturdays and Sundays, 1 – 5 PM. Address and directions can be found on the Carriage Barn Arts Center website: www.carriagebarn.org. It’s a wonderful space, full of wonderful art, so please come check it out!

  6. Congradulations! I really like the colors and that the rose just pops out, which makes it the most important subject. Yet, I still need to look at the others. Get use of objests for the compostion. Well Done Maestro.
